The Railway Junction was opened in 1986.  We are a specialist model railway shop, concentrating on British outline ready to run models and accessories in N and OO gauges from the major manufacturers.  We stock Hornby, Bachmann, Graham Farish, Peco, Gaugemaster, Wills, Ratio, Metcalfe, Superquick, Kestrel, P & D Marsh, Slaters, Geoscenics, etc.  We are one of the chief suppliers in the North West for Sundeala hobbyboards. 

As well as our range of new models and accessories, we also have a variety of used equipment, most of which we have taken in part exchange.  A selection of used locomotives and rolling stock may be seen in our shop.  A further collection of around 100 used locomotives are advertised on this web site, but these are mostly not on display in our showroom and customers should first reserve items from the web site by telephone before visiting.  Locomotives reserved may then be examined and seen running prior to to purchase.
